After shooting 149 in the first day of qualifying for the high school golf team as a freshman, most kids would have quit and never come back. Not Coach Paul. He came back the next day and ended up making the team, even though he couldn’t break 120. His high school coach continued to create challenges in hopes of making him quit. He continued to practice and was relentless in “beating” each challenge and by his last match in high school, he had earned a collegiate scholarship. During his four year collegiate stint, Coach Paul won three collegiate tournaments, earned two 1st Team All-American status and won two NAIA National Championships. And after an injury plagued professional career, he turned his attention to teaching and coaching. Since 2007, coach Paul has earned these distinctions:
